A clothing and accessory line dedicated to wanderers, that’s what Diaries of Nomad is! A dream come true for dreamers, with its rural, earthy but hippy colours and designs. Says Harshita Gautam about her inspiration, “Fascination with the India that lives in the villages; the India that is real & celebratory; is comfortable in its skin and in sync with nature and is incredibly colorful and fashionable.”

Nomad specializes in ghaghras, though there are other quirky accessories that they proudly flaunt. Why ghaghras? Because Gautam is a dancer and feels ghaghras is the best garment for someone crazy about moving. “Also, a tribe called Nomad that originally wore the voluminous skirt and I am trying to bring back the legacy to the mainstream,” says Gautam, who has been everything from a designer to a baker.
