A book, a bronzer, a “ghamagham” blouse and other cheerful shopping ideas

The biggest unresolved conflict I currently have is whether to keep shopping and give in to temptation or hold back. The “what to buy” is never a challenge in my buzzy head, trying to make sense of what sustainable consumption means for me as a person. Don’t get me wrong—I am not on a strict shopping fast or deny myself pleasurable purchases completely. But honestly, I have barely bought even 10 fashion pieces in the entire year. Not a single sari to begin with, a big achievement for me since I am nuts about saris (though I have been gifted some lovely ones). My entire year’s shopping list includes two pairs of chappals, one top, a pair of jeans, one mini bag, one khadi kurta and vintage earrings from an antiques market in Belgrade.
